C-betting in low stakes SnG\'s/ring games

I have noticed that at the low stakes SnG's, there are quite a few check-min-raising addicts, and I'm wondering if it's actually a good idea to make a smaller than usual continuation bet on the flop (like 1/3 or 1/4 the pot as opposed to 3/4), so that in case they decide to check-min-raise, you're saving more chips. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Everytime you do that I looks like a Probe bet (HoH) and you get raised more often as a C-Bet. If you know your opponents C/R you, you have to adjust your game. Come over the Top, Check/raise by yourself or chech/call or Check/fold...

It depends...

On the other hand if you consistently C-Bet then when you do have the goods you are getting your opponent to do exaclty what you want them to do, no?
