Possible Leak? Calling all ins with AK

Is it profitable calling off 40-50BB stacks with AK to a fish pushing all in? I feel like this could be a leak getting in these coin flips with fish. Say raising in EP and a fish open pushes for 35-45 more BBs. Is it + ev looking for a better spot to get my money in, instead of gambling it up in a coin flip situation?

depends on who the short stack is. Obv against the 3-5% pfr's its a fold...but otherwise I don't mind calling and don't see how taking a coinflip with the possibility of also having him dominated is -ev. Plus I like busting them.

This is pretty much the easiest thing in the world to pokerstove.

Actually I think a more interesting question is how high of a pocket pair do you need to call with, as I'm calling most short stacks every time with AK unless they are very tight. QQ+ I call, not sure about JJ probably a fold unless they are pretty loose.---edit: for a unknown with no hands on them I would guess qq+ by default.

I would fold that. Most short stacks I play with only push AA - QQ and AK.

You would need a very loose shortstack, pushing hands like Axs, to make it profitable.

Really? I'm amazed, most SSers are pushing much worse hands than that.

I have just started playing NL 100 FR, only 11k hands so far, and to be honest I rarely see the shortstacks pushing with Ax hands.

Even if they shove any pocketpair, AK is only a coinflip.
