Kd5d

20-40 live 9 handed. A rare loose passive game. I have TAG image.

Two ep players limp one is loose and one is pretty tight, a Mp limps(loose), and I call in hijack with Kd5d it is folded to SB who completes and the BB checks.

The flop: QdTcJd

EP(tight and seems to be fairly straightforward) bets, MP calls, I raise, SB(Very loose and bad) calls, folded to EP who calls, MP calls.

The turn: QdTcJdTd

EP bets, folded to me and I?

The preflop call is a little questionable, but definately doable if the game is loose passive. Nothing wrong with the flop, and the turn you must raise, and then call down from there, unless you straight flush it up on the river!

If you raise the turn and he 3-bets, what are you going to do???
If you play this trash preflop, then you gotta be confident that you know what to do in situations like this...

Re: Kd5d

I agree with the raise, but do we really have to call down a 3-bet? I just don't see a tight, straightforward player 3-betting here without the good on such a scary board. Plus QT/JT make more sense for his open-limping range than K9, 89, or AK and I don't think he'd 3-bet with just trips on such a scary board.

Of course, it'd be a shame to have to fold our 2-outer to the stone cold nuts, which makes calling and raise/folding the river tempting. The problem with that is letting him draw cheaply to a 4-outer - but if we are confident that he'll bet the river with a hand like KQ then we make the same and lose less when the board double-pairs.
