Cake poker..

I and both of my brothers play on cake. We have never colluded, but now cannot sit down at the same table. They knew we shared a last name for awhile (they mentioned it in an email) and that we had logged on from each others computers at times, but didn't take away the ability to play together for some time.

I think it's probably a good thing, but is this standard? We've never colluded, so they can't really have reason to believe we would.....

yes its standard... and what if its not?

I just think it's a tad strange. No casino would stop two friends/siblings from playing at the same table, would they? I'd never heard of it before. There's a lot more paranoia online, which is likely for the best, I suppose...

It is just very easy for you guys to cheat. If you are playing in the same room all you have to do is look at your friends screen. Also, even if you guys are trust worthy (which they have no way of knowing), other people get freaked out by it and some would stop playing there.

Oh, I should clarify, we're all in different provinces. It's not to do with IP addresses.

Actually it is since you have logged in on each other's computers.

This is standard.

Be very careful here, they could very easily could have locked your account just out of suspicion. And then the weight is on you to justify your innocence.

Welcome to the internet. If you wanna play with your buddy...home game. If you want to play online with a buddy you've referred/transferred money to/used your PC/same address/etc then you run a high risk of getting your funds locked.
