NL50 - TPWK

Villain is 42/0/4

Obv. I can't fold river and don't think I want to raise either. Should I have folded turn or is the raise too small and I have to call?

Re: NL50 - TPWK

I'd be tempted to fold turn... turn min c/r == big hand > 1 pair usually, although this villian is very agro pf from stats, so this could be a bluff (this is where reads come in - has he min c/r turn before, if so what did he have if there was a showdown / does he do this too often for it to be a good hand everytime?)

As played I just call river. Looks either like a really trickly played flush draw (unlikely), or he has KT / set and is afraid of the flush on the river. Obv you must call river, but I think you're often beat.

Again, pokerash, your pre-flop play is gross.
I strongly suggest you google Tien's 2+2 article "6 max fundamentals."
Read / assimilate / post more hands in 2 weeks.
Good luck!

I probably toss this trash preflop without thinking about it.
As played, fold turn, you're not beating anything there. I call river simply for pot odd issues, but again you're probably beat there.

Re: NL50 - TPWK

Well, I figured I got good odds PF in position. But I guess I'm getting some concepts wrong.

I def didn't wanna raise as I'm sure I would have got callers and not been able to take the dead money. I only called the turn because of Villain's playing style and small raise.

I will read Tien's article. Cheers

On the flop I would bet $2. Keeps the pot a little bit smaller.

I would check the turn. His range is wider than a flushdraw and you don't want to blow up the pot.
