An Argument For Razz (and Five Card Stud)
 

I would like to see this forum become the forum for Razz and Five Card Stud because:

1. We need the traffic.

2. Posts about these two games get swamped by Seven Card Stud posts in the Stud forum.

3. By 'Stud' most people understand it to mean 'Seven Card Stud', ironic as it used to mean 'Five Card Stud'.

4. There would be a knock on effect for Draw as Razz and Five Card Stud players discovered it.

maybe xpost this in the stud forum, where people actively look for/add posts about razz? I am open to suggestions however.

I do not get this joke.

I have played some Razz with a Murakawa on FTP but if it was you then you would not have known as I play under a nom-de-guerre.

Andy B and I discussed Razz a couple years ago with me holding the Other Poker side. I eventually came around to his point of view, and Razz has done very well over there recently, although I think there's room for Razz posts that illustrate general lowball theory here.

Soko and more esoteric stud variants probably ought to go here for the same reason Crazy Pineapple does. 5 Stud is pretty borderline.
