I agree, my river call on 2nd hand was terrible because from action on 6th, it looks like he has a made 9. I was in a bit of state of shock with his 3rd and 4th street raises. More than anything it was a curiosity call plus I was getting 13.70:1 on my money and villain could have been bluffing on 6th (given his action on previous streets and hands).

Jam the hell out of fifth street and call down even if you don't improve much. He still has a pair on sixth a huge amount of the time, so I'm perfectly comfortable calling down with a T, or really any five-card hand.
