how can he not be dead and/or seriously injured? i guess he caught enough of the angle at the bottom of the ramp to lessen the impact, but christ he's lucky.

I'm sure what we don't know is that he probably crushed his tailbone, he might even have a pelvic fracture. I believe you can still walk with that. Its painful but you can.

If he hadn't turned and landed on his ass, he probably would have shattered one or both fibia and tibia's and perhaps one of the femur's.

He reminded me of Yoshie with his little legs franticly pedalling air. Sadly for him he wasn’t able to float to the ground by doing it.

ESPN says a bruised lung and a bruised liver, no mention of broken bones.
