2/4 - Stack bluff vs. Reynolds XO

Villain is Reynolds XO, a regular multitabler who I have running at 26/22. He has direct position on me for at least 3 tables and has 3betting aggressively and cold calling my open CO raise A LOT (probably 30-40% of the time). He's been floating a decent amount on the flop as well and for the most part I haven't played back; lots of flop c-bets and turn c/f. This is the first hand I 4-betted vs. him on any table tonight.

Shameless bump for the morning crowd.

if i was going to 4bet there i'd shove. the prospect of playing oop with 1 psb left and no hand doesn't sound that fun.

as for the flop, i'm not sure. this is a pretty good board for him to call with a medium pp, and he might realize that you're taking a stand. but it would also suck to take half a stand and then c/f the flop. i guess i like the push but i'm undecided.

I think a PF 4-bet shove would look more like a "taking a stand" line instead of the smaller 4-bet. FWIW though I do mix it up with both bet sizes for bluffs and value depending on opponents.

I also think it'd be tough for him to call with a lot of mid PP's since I might play TT/JJ the same way here.

I know you guys have a decent amount of history but what is this player's range for just calling your 4-bet preflop? Can it really be wide enough that he's going to fold a lot of his range on this flop?

Re: 2/4 - Stack bluff vs. Reynolds XO

He's been floating/coldcalling a lot in this session which I'd also expect to extend to his 4-bet calling range. To make a trivial hand range I'd have to guess AQ+, and somewhere around 88-TT+ but this is purely a guess based on our history.

I played a similar hand vs him where i 4-bet KK small and shoved a 8 high flop and he called me with 99. So i'd say its pretty bad vs him.

If I had an 8xx flop it would be the easiest flop check/fold ever, but the Qxx nature of the board makes pushing a much more attractive option.
