Help Me Plan My US Holiday
 

I've been playing poker for the first 6 months of this year, but I've decided to get one of those job things for 6 months and then I'm ready for a big world trip. I want to spend a significant period in the US and who better the some 2+2ers to tell me what the best cities & spots to hit.

So I'm chasing info on places you reccomend and why.

I'm dead keen on hitting NYC, Vegas and San Fransisco.

I'm not a big environmentalist but if there are any great "nature" type spots worth seeing, I'd do it.

What would be the ultimate itinerary?

Yosemite National Park (in eastern California) is about a beautiful place as I've ever been. I wouldn't go in the winter, though--what time of the year will you be in this neck of the woods?

I'm thinking I'll be in the US from Feb - July (if I can last that long away from home). I'll probably spend a lot of time in California when the weather is good.

I love Yellowstone Park. You can see the best parts of it in about 3 days and if you come at the end of May all the animals will be down low.
