2600 buy in at horseshoe council bluffs sometime in october. anybody got more info?

Hmm ... just wondering here, but could it be that this event is going to be one of the 2007/2007 WSOP Circut events?

didn't we already have a 2007 Circuit event? I would think the Circuit would be seperate in 2008.

the Midwest Regional has been in Ceasars IN for the last 2 years in the Feb-April time frame..the 2007 MWRPC was Feb...is it switching to CB IA next year?

They are handing out flyers with the tourney information.

I'll see if I can remember to pick one up when I'm there on Wednesday, and get it online.

I was wondering if that was indeed the case, because I know that TPTB said that the WSOPC got such a wonderful turnout in CB Iowa (just across the bridge from Omaha), that they were pretty sure it was going to be a stop for the next season.

oct 3 - 300 nlh 1 day tourney
oct 4 - 500 nlh 1 day tourney
oct 5 - 1000 nlh 1 day tourney
oct 6 - 2500 nlh 2 day tourney

Based on the above calendar, it appears they've created a dedicated webpage for the MW Poker Classic here:

Dates appear to be, October 3rd through October 7th, when they will be holding the actual event.
