Lowest standard deviation of total points?

Hi,

Which professional sport (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL) has the lowest standard deviation of total points in a game (incl. overtimes) over the regular season?

I'm thinking NHL or NBA... any gurus know which one for sure?

Thanks.

NBA would seem to be a pretty solid fave off the cuff.

Uh, NHL obviously has the lowest standard deviation.

I assume the concept you're actually referring to is coefficient of variation. If so, then the NBA is lowest by far.

Yeah, this is what I was trying to think of. In layman's terms... The lowest relative standard deviation.
