Good Cheap Furniture to Put LCD TV On
 

I'm not sure where the best place to post this question is, but I thought I would ask it here as the furniture is for a college appartment and I am not wanting to spend a large amount.

I recently got an LCD TV (thanks pokerstars). I can't wall mount the TV in my appartment so I have to put in on something. I googled lcd tv stand, and the results were way to expensive, probably averaging about $300. There is no way I want to spend that much on something to put my TV on.

I was wondering if you have any good ideas for less expensive TV to put an LCD on. I don't care if the furniture normally isn't used as a TV stand. It would be nice if the furniture wasn't very deep, so I could actually take advantage of the thin size of the LCD. Thanks.

Target sells cheap furniture that you assemble. 50-100 bucks. Office Depot has some cheap TV stands as well.

I have a 42 inch sitting on an end table.

IKEA is grat if you have one near. Otherwise, Walmart and Target are probably your best options.

We got a nice TV stand someone wanted to get rid of cheap off of Craigslist.

i have a 50 inch plasma went to target got a sick stand for only 70, its perfect.
