AC for the Weekend - More expensive than usual?

I usually grab a crappy hotel in AC or Absecon late Thursday or early Friday, but everything seems higher priced or booked today. What gives?

I know this a shot in the dark, but is anyone planning on going this weekend and interested in splitting a hotel? I'm driving up from DC and plan to play at Borgata including the Saturday $340.

its late summer aka peak season for the shore...everything's more expensive.

I ended up getting a room on the Blackhorse Pike as I couldn't find a room under $250 and this was 1-2 months ago that I booked it.
Anyone else going to be seeing Lisa Lampanelli Sat night at the Borgata?

Try something alittle farther West on the Pike. or West AC on the other Pike. But it is Summer time.
