Hmmm..System restore wont restore
 

Just bought brand new dell....i did a system restor as i was having trouble with myspace account log on and it keeps saying unable to restore to your choosen time please select another restore point [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Ughhhhh [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

How annoying computer like 8days old [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

What can i try?

Help a computer noob out plz [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Go to the Dell forum and do a search for 'system restore not working' or something like that...there are lots of posts on there that may be able to help. I would do it myself but I am about to leave...and I know there is a lot of info in those forums.

They say that it may be the antivirus that im running as vista is a bit funny i gotta resore in safe mode [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

Why would this require a system restore? WTF have you done in 8 days to mess up your computer? And how could a system restore possibly allow you to log-in to myspace?

I was thinking some dirty spammer from myspace changed my cookies or something along those lines as i asked a friend to log me in on his computer and he was able to log in....i try on my computer/IP address and it was a no go...

Always technical faults with myspace but it always makes me think why can everyone else log on and i cant!

Anyhow i did not do a system restore in the end and now i can log onto that site so obv a technical issue with there stuff!

I was just willing to try a system restore to try to see if that would make a diffrence funyworms
