NL50: JJ line check

I have just moved up to NL50 and the play seems a lot tighter than NL20. Comments please on all streets. Villain was 13/3/3 over 191 hands.

In hindsight I wish I'd made by flop bet a bit larger, but if this flop bet looks weak then WTF is villains turn bet all about? I would likely have folded to a proper turn bet and also to a strong river bet.

I would have bet a little more on the flop, but the turn is fine. How can you fold to a $4 bet.

I wouldn't call much on the river, but I might call a very small bet. Probably just villain stringing you along -- pretty pathetic play on villain's part, though. That turn bet is just horrible. He did get you to call.

PM me what happened, please

the flop bet looks fine. He might have had a weak kicker and put you on a heart draw. people love to 2/3 bet out their flush draws.

villain's play doesn't make any sense and just looks bad. unless he had a monster and wanted to look like he didn't know what he was doing.

I think since you checked the turn CO thought you had whiffed overcards, so he fired off a small bet to see if he could take down the pot. I would call the turn bet, and check and call any reasonable river bet.

Bet $5-5.50 on flop.

Turn is fine. I like c/c better then b/f becuase we might still be good and we have a straight draw, and I don't want to get blown off the pot.

I plan on c/c'ing another lame bet on the river.
