If you check, then you will have to call a bet. So, I prefer betting as your bet will have some fold equity.

You only have to be good something like 12% of the time for a river call to be correct... having said that I think I fold too.

this one is dificult, this limp on the button would make me fold the river too
I saw tons of players that limps on the button with very nice hands because they don't want to steal the blinds with that, after that raise on the turn I would fold the river without the nuts

Note that button folded the flop so this is not relevant to turn action. It is however relevant to the preflop raise, which I think is warranted (anyone beg to differ?) since button's range is like 60% of hands and BB is the type of player who is capable of folding.

I would've chopped but idiot button limper ends up costing me $28

After 4 bbs go in on the turn I think you are stuck paying off the river.

Unless you have seen him bluff before (which, if this is like most live 4/8 games, I doubt).
