I put a guy on mega-tilt and he blows 50BB in 1/2 hour
 

Playing 4-8 live in AC at the Trop. I sit down, first hand I play is from BB. I've played w/ SB before. He's a really tight nit that only bets good hands. Somehow he has about $500 in front of him. 6 limp in, SB limps, I check w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB bets $4, I raise to $8. Everyone else folds, SB calls.

Turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB checks, I check.

River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB bets $8, I fold.

SB angrily slams down pocket 2's for quads. He's pissed I raised everyone out of the pot and don't pay him off.

In the next 1/2 hour, he goes BUSTO! It was quite a sight, really. He lost about 10BB when a guy had a obvious flush. He lost another 10BB calling down to the river w/ bottom pair. Then he grabs his last $20 or $30 and leaves cursing.

About an hr. later, I go out to the boardwalk, and on the way I see him playing blackjack at $25 a hand. He didn't look happy.

I'd like to say I ended up w/ some of his money, but I was card dead while he was steaming.

I don't agree. In a 6 handed pot in a 4/8 live game his raise is for value. (Almost never does his raise force the pot to be HU)

I don't agree. In a 6 handed pot in a 4/8 live game his raise is for value. (Almost never does his raise force the pot to be HU)

I understand the premise behind raising, and "pretty bad" is stretching it, but I think calling is better /strategy

It was 8 handed. I think he's just leveling. It's a standard raise.
