Flop trips 3way but wtf?
Minraiser is a fish >60 vpip who will probably bet his entire range on this flop when checked to so I didn't want to lead into him.
Then this fairly passive (22/8/1.5) player checkraises fishie's flop bet. WTF do I do here? Coldcall and fold to a sizable bet on a blank turn? Would it make a difference if I had say JT instead of T8? 5/10, 5handed SB (Villain): $980 BB (Hero): $1027 UTG: $1226 CO (fish): $1080 BN: $765 Hero has T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 1 fold, CO raises to $20, 1 fold, SB calls $15, Hero calls $10 Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($60) SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets $60, SB raises to $190, Hero |
Re: Flop trips 3way but wtf?
hmm the SB is such a NIT that i would probably fold here.
Hes not going to be making a move here and he may have a hand such as Js but he has a 10 here 90% of the time and they all beat yours. |
Re: Flop trips 3way but wtf?
Agreed, based on your read I think its a clear fold. Wait for a better spot. I still hate to throw it away, but I've seen 4's full or ace ten too many times to know better.

Re: Flop trips 3way but wtf?
Fold, if most of his range comprises Tx, you're losing here because you don't outkick anything. JT wouldn't matter that much because you still lose to most T's that this guy is in the pot preflop with. I don't suppose I understand his sizable checkraise against the megadonk whom he is ahead of 100000% of the time, but who knows, I still fold here.

Re: Flop trips 3way but wtf?
isnt this a standard call flop, see what happens, i mean why the fook do people wanna fold. fish minraises preflop, nit check raises flop vs obv bad player...we have trips...
