Some more info on this hand: BB is European and is talking a lot during all his hands. He told me he wouldn't let me make my draw. I thought this gave his hand away as being a little weak...

Raise bigger on flop and shove over any raises, THIS IS CRUCIAL. As played i guess i call, but i would kick myself after playing the flop like you did.

Raise to $60-$70 on the flop the first time.

Since you didn't, thank the baby [censored] jesus that BB re-opened the betting and push then.

Normally, I would shove this flop, but I didn't give the BB credit for a straight. My concern was a better set. However, he had been overvaluing a lot of his hands (paid off 2 AI sets with a rivered top pair), and I thought I was up against 2 pair or a set. I did NOT put him on any kind of drawing hand, so I didn't think a r/r AI was necessary on the flop HU.

I called the AI bet (after he talked too much and gave his hand away by telling me my overpair was no good), and he ended up having 67o for top two, didn't improve, and I scooped a big pot. I played the hand to go with my read, and it was right.

I think he has a made hand of some kind. Got to put him on at least 2 pair, but also pp 66 and 77 or str8.
Fold, Show him the set and hope he was bluffing. You should be able to get his stack soon enough.

Raise no good here in low stakes live game. Taking 5+ to the flop for the min with small pair is where you want to be the way these things play.
