Dids is overusing his mod powers yet again in NVG
 

Unfortunately Dids just went out and deleted the thread but I have a screen grab from it just in case because I suspected he'd go way overboard like he usually does. He's just not a good moderator. NVG could be much better managed by a moderator with clearly more intelligence. Like Bruiser. Or iron81. Either one I think would do a stellar job, and maybe if they use mittens instead of kid gloves they wouldn't screw up nearly as often as Dids does.

Here's the screen grab in case you reds need proof of his clearly overzealous modship.

I'm also sure that others can attest to Dids' overuse of his mod powers in what would otherwise be a great forum.

That seems like a pretty over-the-top post.
You even admitted that you thought it could be considered over-the-line and that's why you did a screen-grab of it.

Additionally, the WSOP discussion belongs in the WSOP forum, doesn't it?

I just did a screen grab from cache as proof once I realized he'd deleted yet another excellent thread from NVG. I don't know about the forum choice, that seems pretty arbitrary to me.

I missed the part about the supposed excellence of your post but that's jmo I guess.

Not sure why it's so arbitrary when he specifically requested WSOP posts go into that forum.
Also, since it's about his commentating abilities it may be more appropriate in the TV-poker forum.

My hunch is that he was more bothered by the tone of it though (otherwise he could have moved it to the forum himself).

I don't really know but I respect his desire to try to keep the discussion as realistically civil as possible while still allowing the maniacs to have fun in the asylum and it's my observation he does a pretty good job as mod (and is either improving at it over time or I'm just getting used to the direction he wants to take).
