multiple stars accounts
 

Hi,
i wanted to change my sn and was told by a friend to do this:

1. make a new stars account with a fake name address
2. transfer money from your real name account to that account
3. play with ur preferred sn account
4. transfer money back to real account when u want to cashout


has anyone done this?

is this safe to do?

will stars like catch me if i do this? is this wrong?

Your name isn't worth getting your funds taken. But Stars has always been pretty fair though.

as long as you don't do anything dumb transfering to self is not going to raise anything

Hi. I work for PokerStars.

If you create a fake name & address, it won't stop us catching you. It will stop you cashing in or out. Every cashout is reviewed by security, and you'll be caught when you try to take anything out of the site (if not before). They'll see where the money came from, no matter if it was transferred from "another" player.

It's also against the T&C. Knowingly breaking the T&C (like you're doing here) is a much worse thing than breaking the T&C without knowing it.

Don't do this please.

I hear these poker sites can see which IP address you use to log in, they can then see who else logs in on that address, giving a fake name etc will only make it worse when they catch you. and they WILL catch you, especially now you have broadcast your intentions to the whole world!
