3/6 NL -- turn stack-a-donk line.

Villian is JD_Killer, kinda weird tag, talks a lotta [censored]. he runs at 20/10. my image is also tag, he calls me names in chat for no reason which i just laugh at.

anyways i led flop cuz sb was a fish and i wanted to get money in vs him. with that said i didnt pay attention to stack sizes....

thoughts on the line? who 3 bets flop?

Its fine, you probably have at least some fold equity and a lot of outs if called.

jd_killer plays with half a brain. I think he's never folding here ever unless he's completely bluffing. even though stacks are awkward i would probably just bomb away the flop because you are a favorite over an overpair.

otherwise I call the turn and see a river.

Seriously. Flop is where you need to concentrate gettin money in. No need to turn this hand into a generic bluff by river when there is actual value on earlier streets to maximize.

for these combo type hands don't you almost always want to put in the big raise on the flop?

because by jacking up the turn, aren't you just putting in all of the $ when you're behind?

i would definitely 3 bet pretty big on the flop...u hit the flop pretty hard but ur hand still needs improvement might as well try to get it in while ur still a favorite...think about it, any card that u hit with on the turn is gonna be a scare card and kill ur action...try to get it in on the flop

i didnt realize i had so much equity vs a set/overpair/2 pair/ straight etc.

Anyways, i pokerstoved this hand vs some possible hands, (overpairs/sets/2 pair etc).... im almost 50% vs a straight here. 40% set etc etc....

How wild do we get on the flop? any number? if villian just calls a 3 bet on flop (prob unliekly) then what do i do on a lbank turn?

Definitely get it in on the flop. If he calls 3bet I'd shove basically any turn.
