Anyone going to 10,000 Lakes Festival?
 

The lineup is sick and has over 50 bands over 5 days.

I'm heading out after work today and will get there bright and early tomorrow. I'm so excited, they had 40,000 people there last year and are expecting 50-60k this year. It's gonna be crazy!!!

Sounds fun b/c I like these music festivals regardless of who is playing but I can't comment on the lineup as I've never heard of most of these bands.

The link provided will bring up bios and songs from every band. I suggest you check it out. Pretty eclectic from funk to rock to electronica to bluegrass, lots of different stuff.

I would SO be there if the drive wasn't so bad from here. I hear the location is simply beautiful, and the lineup is sick.

You MUST go see the Disco Biscuits. My favorite band and they absolutely rage. Not sure how "on" they will be playing a festival set and all, but their shows are dance partys usually. God I love em and would go just for them.

If you've never seen Keller Williams, he is amazing. Don't sleep on that one either.

You'll get to see one of Cheese's last shows and I'm jealous. Heard their shows in the last week have been surprisingly great and I wish I could catch them before they call it quits.

Umphrey's and moe tear it up live as well. Should be a fun time.

Keller Williams
Gypsyfoot
WBPN
Fancy Bastard
God Johnson
Pnuma Trio

Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. A few local bands that I want to support and of course the big names. I usually don't do this for festivals, but I bought a watch and made an itinerary so I wouldn't miss anything. It's gonna be killer.

Rockin. I'm so envious. Particle is really good live. Ratdog (I've heard) is pretty boring.
