Untitled JJ Abrams Project
 

So I saw the Transformers movie on Tuesday night, and one of the trailers was for the untitled JJ Abrams movie. I'm hearing that it's called The Parasite, or Cloverfield?

For those who haven't seen it, the trailer opens up with a surprise party for this guy. A few minutes into the party there's a loud bang, and everyone runs to the rooftop of this apartment building where the party is. They look out in the distance of NYC and see things blowing up. At one point the head of the Statue of Liberty goes flying.

It looks pretty sick.

Anyone have any info on this? Apparently it’s real hush-hush. The trailer looked pretty cool. It's all in the mode of The Blair Witch, where it looks like it's all from a hand-held video camera.

Does this mean that it will have an awesome setup and be 4 hours long with no payoff?

I thought I heard a Godzilla noise when I saw the trailer... but I might have made that up. It was listed on IMDB as being Godzilla a few days ago, but is now listed as "The Parasite."

The Host. It's been out but not around me. I dunno when it hits video or if it'll make it to theaters first or what.
