It seemed like he had such an obvious check call on the river with an 8 or a 9 for him, that I was pretty sure he had just a 98 at best...so I raised. What do you think? Other st. comments are welcome.

some people are just incapable of folding? I've found that there's a lot of odd people who play razz. If the person is at all reasonable I like the raise. Looks like your villain is just a calling station. At least you got valuable metagame and info out of it.

please don't do this. nobody bet-folds ever in Razz, and especially not at 0.25/0.50.

yeah, this crossed my mind after the fact. Then I thought that I should have raised 6th and bluffed the river. Then I thought that if the guy is dumb enough to bet into me on 5th and 6th he is clearly to dumb to bluff out of any pot that he has shown any interest in.
