Southern girls

Got into a discussion with some of my friends last night, all of us single cuz hounds, and we got to talking that chicks now arent like they were 50 years ago obv, its tough to find a girl that can even cook a meal better than I can. then one of them said we should all move to the south, becuase girls down there know how to take care of their men.

and listen, I dont want a long discussion on how sexist Im being, as well, I dont give a [censored]. I just want a rundown of different areas of teh country, and a generalization on what the women are like in this regard

I would gladly stay home to cook and clean.

And I'm a damn good cook, too.

Born and raised GA girl.

I actually have basically 0% southern accent. I do say "y'all", but that's it.

A lot of girls in my home town say it's their "calling" to be housewives - cook, clean, raise the kids.

A lot of them are skanks or meth heads though.

I think there are plenty of chicks that still have a strong domestic drive. However it seems like they don't want it right now, but rather think that's what they should do down the line.

I'm of the belief that if a girl can't cook, she can still redeem herself with great BJs

A good cook > good BJs.

and ya, I agree perg, teh ones who say that they just want to settle down, and be a housewife, are usually teh ones that I see as the ones that would be farthest from a good housewife (party hard, sleep around, dont even know what a spatula is). Therefore Im kind of soured and just think that most of them are looking for a free ride, hence why I wondered if aroudn other parts of the country are different.

I go to an SEC school and I swear some girls are there just to meet their husband.

The MRS degree program is not confined to the south. (At least one of my LAW SCHOOL classmates was there trying to find a hubby...)

I dunno, I've never lived there, but when I was working in the bakery with a bunch of masshole degens, one guy had just married a woman from Arkansas a couple years earlier. She was pretty for her age (early 40s I believe), a great cook, and willing to do anything to make her man happy. I was at a BBQ at the guy's house, and before I even met her formally, she came up and gave me a big hug from behind and said, "this must be Colin!", almost flirtatiously. Then she got me a hot dog and a soda. At first I was uncomfortable, but then the husband slapped me on the shoulder and said, "see? I told you my wife was awesome, bro."

Re: Southern girls

Southern girls are way overrated imo.
The accent is awful and the southern-hospitality rep is not deserved.
The women in this region did not impress me in the slightest.
No big coincidence that the girl I ended up with in my time here also happens to be one of the few girls I met who is not originally from here.

I live in Memphis but have travelled around Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida.

I can imagine things might be different in bigger cities like Atlanta or Houston though but based on the pic that guids is showing he might be thinking more towards country-southern instead of Big City-Southern.
