Standard spot in 3bet pot

Villain was taggy over not many hands and probably had me at about 25/20. Shove the turn now? or give him a chance to fire again or maybe try and squeeze some extra value on the river?

I'm fine with betting or checking turn, prolly lean towards chk if villian is unknown

I check the turn. I don't think a bet get payed off by PPs <QQ. He might have re-raised you preflop with KQ/QJs, but against his range (and maybe even against his Qx hands) a turn check to induce a light calldown or bluff is best imo.

Would you call a CRAI on the turn? I'd prefer to check behind and call a river bet from 88-AA/AK. If he checks the river I'd make a value bet.

I would value bet here, too much left to shove

I have a psb left so If I'm betting I'm shoving anyway.

I prefer a check since he was the 3-bettor.

Precicely. So if we're not folding isn't it better to let villain take a stab on the river with a weaker hand than to push him off his PP with a turn bet?

check the turn
you get value on the river from hands you beat...keep the pot smaller when you behind and are rarely giving your oppenenent a shot at more than 3 outs

Yeah at the time I shoved because I thought that looked like the most bluffy line. When I thought about the hand later that night though I convinced myself that checking was better and that seems to be the concensus here. Villain only has 2/3 outs if behind and I'm pretty sure the extra bets gained from him bluffing or when he makes a light call on the river that he might not have made on the turn more than make up for giving him a free 6-9% equity in the pot.
