how legit is empirecasino?
 

I signed up but never played, got an email from them today saying I can get a 100% to $500 signup bonus, and if a do a second deposit before 30th June I'll also get the reload bonus, for a total bonus of $1000.

Sounds good, but I hear they have a dodgy reputation.

Anybody have any good or bad experiences with them?

I've only had good experiences at empirecasino myself. they even mentioned me in their newsletter yesterday in the winners section.

but since there's been so many problems with withdraws I am not going to reload anymore and can't suggest it to anyone.

You have to realize that the bonus is something like 70x with blackjack, and that it's not actually a bonus insomuch as it's a really nice comp that at the proper rate can make the game +ev. You can't sticky up the bonus because you can't actually bet all of the bonus money, only a very small amount of it, you'd have to deposit $7000 and bet it all on one hand to get a $100 bonus entirely in play in BJ. If you bust your cash balance, you have to redeposit to play with the bonus money.
