O.K. I meant to post this Fri June 22. But right when I was going to post this message they took the betting on this subject down. I see they got it back up again. Here it is. I know for a fact that Kathy Griffin is the the top canidate for the position. She had dinner with Barbera Walters last Thursday discussing her possible future on the show. I bet the $50 on 3-1. What is your good lead? If it was Whoopi Goldberg, she is no longer being considered for the job. Here's my 3-1 gift for you all. It Kathy's job if she wants it or screws it up somehow.

regarding the rest of your post, sounds like the soprano's spoiler to me. i do NOT see abc putting kathy griffin in the job. she is a potty mouthed fagala-hagala. i think she would not do well in that role.

her, or practially any other woman in show-biz insta-calls with accepting this job.

kathy griffin is barely an A comediene, she gets that offer and it it 1,000 steps up from her current life.

obviously, i do not have solid enough info to wager on anyone, or i would have. i'm not saying your info is wrong, just that i can't put credibility into it based on a single post on a messageboard.
