Shove , pots like 1800, he has 1900 left, he calls with any ace.

Is he c/c a A`s pre? I think i make a smaller raise, which gets looked up by a K, too and be shoved by an A.

he's very likely to limp/call with a bad ace pre given his description.

river is a shove. although you should def just bet this flop against someone playin over their head.

A: he limp/called from the SB. Most Ax's raise, no?

B: if he slowplayed a hand, he probably has a boat...KK, AK, AT, TT and one possible AA.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nice, he had a boat, and you shoved, what you trying to say , you shouldve called, calling isnt an option.

Re: 25/50 Nut Straight, River Pairs the Board

(Note: not a high stakes player, but I know how to play against bad players.)

Against a bad player I think the flop check is kind of iffy. He either has a hand or he doesn't. If he doesn't have a piece of this flop, it's very hard for him to improve to anything he likes except a low set or maybe trips.

My plan would be to bet $300 on the flop (pot $400), $750 on the turn (pot $1k) and shove the river for his last $1.7k ($2.5k pot).

As played, I would shove the river because that bet size usually isn't a boat from a bad player.
