okay, I think I just wet myself.

Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Looks like there's some new and restored shots - Joanna Cassidy running towards the camera in her death scene (shot only last year) and some shots of naked dancers in masks I have never seen before.

By the way, I saw this last night during the AFI 100 Top American Films program.

Blade Runner is a movie that i thought did the book justice if i were you Zod i would watch it (whatever cut it is).

I knew when Lucas started monkeying with his Star Wars films a 3rd time for the DVD release we'd see more stuff like this -

interesting - not sure which cut will work best - the final cut, huh? - wonder if it settles once and for all the "Dekard is/isn't a replicant."

I wonder if the rights to keep cutting it will pass on to his kids, and one day his kid will put out a new edition with comments about what dad really wanted.

It is getting ridiculous.
If DVDs wouldn't sell so good this would never have happened.

I have to say, the 'director's cut' that came out a while back was no such thing.

This 'final cut' is the real deal. I am very excited about this one.

Plus it's supposed to have the original theatrical cut in the set, which I prefer over the 'director's cut' anyway.
