What is the best country in the world?
 

In your opinion, what is the best country in the world to live in, and why? This can take into account everything from system of government, to culture, food, sports, natural beauty, career opportunities, etc.

I vote for America. Since many people in here will probably pick America as well, I'm adding a poll of America v. other.

The whole setup makes this a poor threadstart in the Lounge, but the topic has some potential if rephrased along the lines of 'what are the things you like about your country' (or 'hate', or 'do you find ridiculous', etc)

If anyone wants to go with something like that?
