I would definatly check the river aswell. AQ/AJ is the only hands you could get value form with this bet. But sometimes you fold them out and atleast AQ probably bets anyway. So I dont really see what a lead here accomplishes, he will never look you up light here.

Well, in hindsight, it's easy enough to say you should just check-call the river too. By betting out you probably mostly get value from an AQ that might have checked behind and not from much else.

I like flop and turn a lot. On the river, when he raises, I think you are correct to fold.

With AQ on a dry board like this, isnt checking turn and VBing river a more likely line than VBing turn and just checking behind the river?

this spot is weird because you are almost never calling a raise on this river, and a good/tricky opponent will know this and raise any two cards to move you off your hand.
I think if you check river AQ will VB neway so I like C/C all 3 streets.
As played, I suppose you fold because no one ACTUALLY will read your hand correctly and move you off it, but this line is very exploitable...

Yes, more likely I think, but not exclusive of course.

Yeah forgot to say, as played you have to fold. He takes this line everytime with a set and very very seldom to make you fold.

I agree he would often slow down on turn with AQ or AJ specially on this dry board.

I really felt he had a set here after combination of turn bet and riv raise but then started wondering if i had outthought myself, i usually reraise PF so have very little experience playing with such an under-repped hand.
