I actually liked LA in this game only because Penney is starting? Why do you like Toronto against a 8-1 pitcher?

OP: Why do you like the under in the KC\STL game?

Obviously there is more to o\u than the pitchers ERAs, but Elarton has about a 8.5 and Wells (who is absolutely awful)has about a 7, not to mention his 2-11 record. Last time Elarton and Wells went up against each other the score was 17-8.

This screams over to me, but I am pretty inexperienced and pretty bad at picking MLB o\u.

I imagine it has something to do with Penny being 8-1. The true line on this one should probably be something much closer to a coinflip, but Joe Donkalot has no problem laying chalk on the road with an overperforming Dodgers pitcher.

Again, this is likely due to those high ERAs rather than in spite of them. Both of those pitchers aren't good, but they aren't as bad as their numbers indicate. I would be very surprised if the true line for this total should be as high as 10.5.

I like both of these plays.
