1 - Guy was like 23/6/1.5 , I think should've raised the flop, but didn't want to scare the other guy who was 45/1

4- MP2 here is 60/0/0.8 , is the 2x raise at the end ok as he was just calling all the way or should I just call? My reasoning was that I had him beat and could win a side pot, I really didn't know about the shortie.

i only read the first hand but why the [censored] did you fold to a 45/1?

Re: 50NL - Some hands from my first day at the level

hand1: easy flop raise, you want money going in

turn is a joke?

hand2: don't like the flop raise

hand3: preflop is pretty meh, I like 3betting

flop raise is a little small, rest looks ok

hand4: I'd think about a flop raise

river I'd just shove instead of your weakraise

hand5: I'd just give up on the turn

hand6: looks fine

In hand 1 the guy who raises me on the turn is the 23/6 not the 45/1.

Yep, and now that you've explained which is which it makes the flop line pretty bad as well.

Re: 50NL - Some hands from my first day at the level

I stack off almost 100% of the time with 2nd nut flush on a 3 flush board. It would have to be a mega nit to fold this hand.

effang 06-19-2007 11:24 AM

Re: 50NL - Some hands from my first day at the level

LOL. 2nd nut flush and you fold for less than 100 bb stacks. Playing scared? What possibly better flop/turn could you ask for? If you can't get it in here for less than 100 bb, you shouldn't play these 2 cards.

edit: mega nits don't play Axs (well, not often). I stack off here against mega nits because they have a set more likely.

I agree. Hand 1 fold is horrible. Playing scared money.
