NL 10 QTo Line check

Okay was the first orbit on the table.

Preflop: Completing here should be fine, I'm laying perfect odds. After the raises I still get good odds so I call.

Flop: Now I have toppair and I want to know where I stand cheaply. I thought about Betting and C/R, but I think my donk is the better way b/c it does not blow the pot as much as a C/R would.

Turn: wow I got only called by one, this is a good sign but im not certain if I'm ahead or behind ... I want to see what villain is going to do if I check the turn.

River: Now I think my bet is noobish. There are hardly any hands that are worse and will pay, and I'd hate to get raised ... I think a Check is way better.

I think you got awfully lucky on this one. It just seems like you invested a lot of money on a weak hand.

your bet on the river is a blocking bet. It isn't that bad in my opinion, it stops CO bluffing the river as frequently. CO can still call this with hands you beat, like J10 and A9 for example, and if he raises it is an easy fold.

I'm not sure i lead the flop OOP with 4 people to act including a pre flop raiser.

I would c/call river, may have been able to induce a bluff there. What would have been your line if CO bets turn?

Hardly depents on how much ... but I think I'd foldet.
Any more opinions on my flop bet ?
Would you just give up there ?

I like the river bet. That board is really gross for everyone at this point. It is likely that you have a straight, and there is a flush possible you could have easily flopped a set.

I might check call the river, but the bet isn't bad, also if he folds you get to muck your hand, and if he calls you down maybe you can use it to set your image.

Re: NL 10 QTo Line check

Would anyone advocate a c/r on flop assuming it was checked around to CO and c-bet? Or is that a terrible line? Leading into 4 people is tough and it's a semi-coordinated board. I know you typically don't want to be playing huge pots w/ TK but a c-r may take the pot down right there in this case.

*edit if there were callers obviously I'd shut it down.

Just my 2 cents but I noticed that player who bet the flop, almost allways call a c/r if they have the tinyiest piece of the board at all.

But could be personal experience

Calling the raise preflop in worst position with a trouble hand is awful calling station play!

Check the flop OOP and see what happens.

Re: NL 10 QTo Line check

6.5 - 1 + implied odds dont justify a call preflop ?
When I call preflop I should not play TPnK like in this hand, but away from this hand calling preflop with 6.5-1 odds and several oppents is not good enough for QTo to play ?
Would that mean that the complete in the first place (9-1 odds) is bad too, or would you say 9-1 is enough ?

Or is it the fact that in a raised pot there is very less chance to pick up a freecard and b/c the pot is allready that big all further betting will be more expensive
