Are these standard or do I suck?

I had been sitting at this table for about 30 minutes before these hands happened within 10 minutes of each other.

The villain in the first hand was somewhat of a calling station.

The villain in the 2nd and 3rd hand was same guy and he was a bit over aggressive and it was workin for him.

I have gone back to basics since I hadn't been playing poker much this year and have been playing mostly .10/.25 and .25/.50 so I was in a sense taking a shot at a limit I used to regularly play.

All I know is Sklansky owes me a car.

Anyways ...partly a venting post since I either misplayed, got unlucky and/or went on monkey tilted away pretty much my entire BR in this 3 hour session ...which is sad sad sad..lol.

hand 1 you should be shoving river and he should be having his testicles severed from his body.

hand 2 you played this very well

hand 3 i would bet more on the turn, #1. as played it's possible you induced some kind of retardo bluff with your 40% turn bet, but i doubt it. it really comes down to his preflop calling range (how many Kx) and his tendency to overvalue hands because this is almost always Kx or 99 and your hand is faceup as the same. it's a little worse actually since some people would check the flop w/AA/AK/KK so your range is stronger than his...

hand 4 turn bet is meh, river bet is terrible unless your bet sizing indicates different intentions than i am gathering

come on now let's be civil, he's offering these for criticism and deconstruction, not as an invitation for personal villification.

don't show results.

1) BBV. River bet is thin, but w/e; Thin is in. And if a station will call 40 on the river with Tx, he'll probably call 77.

2) BBV

3) Turn bet is too small. Other than that, it's fine if villain is over aggro.

4) not the greatest spot to double barrel. And I have no idea what betting 1/2 pot on the river with 3rd pair is supposed to accomplish.

Re: Are these standard or do I suck?

K well at least I can gather some constructive criticism on the few hands I posted.

Running at 1/2 with a BR of $1000 wasn't smart to begin with I know as the variance makes blatantly obvious that if the luckbox isn't functioning properly doom will ensue.

Hand 1 I see how the river should have been an obvious push.

Hand 2 I don't see how else I could have played this ..BBV.

Hand 3 if I pot the turn and he raises is it an easy fold with trips in my hand?

and hand 4 the river as played was terrible I guess .. I suppose I should have been shoving it and expecting some serious variance I suppose.

Always sucks to feel nauseaous about taking a shot that 8 months ago I felt quite comfotable playing regularly at and higher at times (2/4) and losing the majority of the bankroll.
