I don't like the repop pre with AQo out of position. It's just not a good hand to do that with. Once you hit the flop the money is obv going in one way or the other and you're ahead more often than not.

why the 4bet? do you think he's 3betting you light? why 4bet a nit w/ AQo?

w/o any history and those stats i think folding to the 3-bet is very standard. if for whatever reason i did 4-bet and got this flop i would c/f. i think he's got AK a lot.

I probably woulda folded preflop. However, I like ur flop C/RAI. I would be scared of him flatcalling preflop tho unless he likes to make plays postflop. If you've been tight, and he 3bets and flatcalls a 4bet, I would be feelin sorta bad, but you just can't fold htis flop with this much money in the pot, so I guess c/rai is good.

Re: 4bet pre 5/10

Very funny how JKratzer posts a hand with AQ in another post and many told him to 4bet. Now he 4bets and people say 'why do that?' AQ plays tough in this spot because if he just calls PF he will most likely c/f an airball flop or c/c if he hits but be forced to c/f the turn unimproved. That is a pricey line. Some may call it spewish even.

As I wrote in his last AQ post, sometimes it is necessary to turn your hand into a bluff EVEN WHEN YOU HIT THE FLOP. This may mean calling the 3bet PF and c/r'ng the flop, obviously shutting down if called.

As for ths hand, seeing as how you did 4bet pre, I see no other way too play it in an attempt to maximize your gaines.

I hate AQo out of position btw. A lot. You will very rarely win a big pot.

Re: 4bet pre 5/10

As played I think OP is behind a lot here after villain bets the flop, but you can't fold. I hate the 4-bet pre and I think bet/calling is much better than c/r as KK-JJ (especially w/ the diamond) are always checking behind
