sick deep river spot 200/400 ugh

Opponent is Angelica18, not horrible or anything, but the mark of this lineup (aba, durrr, me) imo. He is pretty tight, and he doesn't loosen up much at all shorthanded -- his HU, 6h, and 3-4h stats are all about the same. He has definitely been caught running some big bluffs before.

This is towards the start of the session, and we haven't been tangling too hard yet in big pots. A fair amount of reraising though.

Also, we have moved tables once I think because he had most of his balance on one table and wanted to spread it around, so he may be playing on case money if that is important.

I have not caught him reraising me with anything too speculative yet, but frequency suggest he may be

Just so you know, I think the convertor screwed up positions... I'll assume you were UTG and he was the BB?

I really want to call this... I just think his river push VBing range is not all that wide yet its a pretty good river for him to bluff...

if this is case money or close to it, and he's not on some sort of monkey tilt, and you dont have any better reads than what you've given, i'd turbomuck this.

probably let it go on the turn, too, unless he's known to 2-barrel often but not fire the third.

What about raising the flop to $23,000 or so. I don't know how these games play, but given stack sizes it puts alot of pressure on him to either push or fold, right? And I doubt he has a strong enough hand often enough on the flop to push.

As for the river...meh. I think your hand looks alot like 9T or JJ or something similar. So if he's good at hand reading, I guess he could be trying to push you off your hand.

I think his bet abd bet size on the river is pretty strange. Wouldn't people value bet less, trying to get you to call with middle pair or check call the river hoping that you bluff a missed draw? But like I said I don't play these games.

Given description, it doesn't seem like he/she is very likely to be bluffing here at all, so I think folding is generally best here.

Dudes, keep in mind that he 3bet an UTG raiser, and that he's most certainly never pushing that river with JJ+ for value.. and that he probably doesn't 3bet 33, 77, 88, or TT pf... and that leaves like 87s.. the more I look at this hand the more I want to call.
