Why are you raising so small?
 

Villain is unknown but likely bad in some way due to sitting short and his mini preflop raise.

Figure I can get AQ/AK to fold but maybe I am losing to much value from worse hands?

Villain has to be very weaktight to fold AK here often. I'd really just call and go from there. And fold preflop.

I see what you are saying about the flop. But I think this is a pretty clear call with almost any 2 cards getting 3:1.

not with ATo. the reverse implied odds on your hand are really high and if he doesnt have your ace outkicked you're going to win his cbet at best.

ATo is pretty terrible here. I agree that a SC or pair would be more ideal. After some quick math I think you might be right about the fold. I would however call with an extremely wide range. Something like 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J2s+, T2s+, 94s+. We are getting great immediate odds and pretty sick implied odds.
