Impressive female vocalists
 

My brother showed me this and i have been listening to it again and again. VERY VERY impressive:

i've never really listened to anything of hers before, but after this i went looking and she has an amazingly soulfull voice. except for the random scream at like 1:58 (can't tell if she meant to do it or if it was a result of trying to hit a note but ran out of breath/control) in the above linked performance, the song was flawless. just amazing.

please to be linking other impressive female performances.

Barron - Idol has featured some excellent female performances. Here are two that really standout, imo.

the other day i was listening to xm in my bosses car and some female vocalist came on and just blew my mind with how fantastic she sounded. Her name was Melody something, but i missed the last name. i feel pretty bummed because her voice was like perfect and searching for +melody +music in google obviously wont help my cause. any ideas?
