If villain had flush draw, he almost always bets this flop, si? He was PFR so it ends up looking like you were going for a C/R on the flop with FD and missed. I think I like.

I think this play is fantastic and should work almost 100% of the time this is rele smart

i wouldn't go quite that far, some more reads on the villain would help, but this is very likely to be successful vs a solid reg, and good for your image if he decides to make a hero call. preflop isn't great though...

this is pretty similar to my thought process - I knew that he couldnt have the flush because he wouldve bet flop like you said. At the same time my line can definitely rep a rivered flush. Also, I could obv only do this against a thinking player -- given that part of my reasoning was that since he knows that i know an ace is a large part of his range, that I wouldn't be c/r that riv unless i had an ace beat.
