3rd is fine - 4th & 5th is spewage. What exactly where your thoughts when raising 4th & 5th? And your read on Seat 1(and possibly others)? It helps to know WHY you did a move, so we can help correct it(if it's wrong).

My thoughts were that in his position on 3rd street if he was strong he should be raising. I feel pretty confident he doesn't have a pair of Aces. Since I'm thinking that my hand is ahead on 3rd street, and since we caught the same on 4th and 5th, I'm thinking I still have seat 1 one beat.

I'm not too thrilled about Seat 6 though, and after trying to get him out on 4th perhaps giving up on 5th just calling on 5th would have been wiser.

A lot of people, especially in lower limits, won't reraise you on 3rd. That being said, I still like raising 4th while the cost is cheaper to try and thin out the field. 5th is a spew though.

I like yoiur raise on 4th, but when he again comes out betting on 5th, it is pointless and foolish to be raising there on 5th. it is clear that you dont have the best hand at this point. i think you got a little reckless there.

What do you put these guys on?

On third street when the Ace doesn't put in a raise I assume my tens are good. When we catch the same on 4th I think I'm still good. The same goes for 5th, as its unlikely he has nines or fives in the hole. I was concerned with the player behind me. I was trying to get rid of him.

On sixth I catch good and my fears are assuaged. On seventh I lead, was called by Queens and Jacks, and seat 1 mucked, MHIG. I still don't really know what seat 1 had.

Especially at this level, people will just call with a big pair in the hole, so your Tens aren't necessarily best. Of course, people will call with crap as well. When the other guy bets into you twice, it really looks like he's got Tens beaten. I'm not saying you should fold, but I'd probably just call fifth. If this weren't micro-limit, I'd be a little scared when I got called in two places on sixth. Value-bet the river against terrible players but check against decent opposition.

I'd play it like you most of the time.

not too bad of thinking but you are developing yourself into a losing player as you move up in stakes.

first learn one game at a time before playing horse.
learn to read all the hands in a pot. then figure out what to do.
good luck
