Am I out of line (steam/tilt)

B & M. Was originally going to post there but believe this relates more to bbv (beats). Normally I'm a nice guy at the tables, regular winner, and jokes around. Last 2 weeks I been taking a swing so I'm not sure if this is out of line due to my losing streak or if it is deserved.

At the casino I frequent, one young player who is becomming quite the regular (little br control), calls my utg raise with 10-9 o/s first in and flops the nuts vs my pocket aces. Normally I'm not that steamed, but he was the first one in, knows I play solid, and it became a cap'd preflop.

Same 'regular' raises utg+1 and I call in bb with A-7 hearts. I flop the ace (A-K-Q board), c/c him on the flop. He goes "you and me?" and says "I check" before the turn. I sometimes play soft in a pot headsup where I feel I don't want to put the extra bets with a weak winning hand. Board goes runner-runner diamonds and I make 2 pair at the river. I check, he goes "I have to bet." I remark about his angle shooting, call. He flips over q-j diamonds for bottom pair (on the flop) + the bd flush.

And here is what set me off. Flop comes J-5-J. On the turn a regular c/r a payoff wizard allin. Turn and river come baby cards. The regular shows 1 jack. The payoff wizard flips over J-10. The regular slowrolls the Ace behind the jack card in true Varkonyi fashion. I remark about the slowrolling, ask the dealer to deal me out. Make comments about the angle shooting/slowrolling and cash out. The regular who slowrolled says "stay I'm cashing out." Another player (business man, donating to table) remarks his distaste for the slowroll.

Should I have said anything? Am I just steaming from another bad session?

2/4 or 3/6?

12/24 LHE.

Also I lost a nice sized pot with pocket aces vs UTG raiser who had pocket 3's and outflopped me. I got upset when I mucked and a player not in the hand asked to see my cards, a diff regular who I never asked to see his cards. Not sure how this attributes to my psyche/tilt but from a 3rd party view I'm sure I look bad.

I don't see the angle shoot and who cares about the slowroll, you weren't even in the hand.

Stop being such a nit and relax.

angle shoot was when he said "I check" as implying let's check it down. It's done a lot in casinos, but sometimes the guy who is on a draw (the guy willing to check it down) will bet when he hits his card otherwise check then at showdown muck. It's very common in b&m's.

Slowrolling is something I absolutely hate, esp against a guy who is all-in and consistently comes and pays off the table. Why ruin his experience and send him home with that thought in his mind? He, and others like him, pay my rent, I don't want the fish angry.

If these points are still not valid for getting upset at the two 'regulars' then please let me know.

[/ QUOTE ]Why is a turn check interpreted as implying checking the hand down on the river? That is soooo absurd.

He did it before the turn card came. It's a referrence to "it's just you and me?" --> "I check" as he will check it down because the pot is just headsup. Happens often.

After coolingdown I realized I should've just left, came back the next day, and take their money.

I agree with you 100% about the first issue. I have had similar issues in LHE games at Foxwoods, totally understandable. As far as the other slowroll issue, making an issue of it certainly contradicts the reason why it angered you in the first place. It would have been wise not to mention anything after the slowroll, to prevent the "businessman" from thinking its too big of a deal.
