I think its total crap btw. I mean, I understand the letter of the law, but San Antonio has gotten away with a ton this series(Bowen's two cheap shots, Horry's cheap shot) while Phoenix hasn't retaliated at all, yet Phoenix is getting the raw deal here.

Someone on Around the Horn made an interesting point:

If Phoenix loses game 5 then its possible that Phoenix will have lost the series due to two rules that are really outdated and need to be revamped: the "leave the bench" rule and the blood rule.
