TPTK folds flop

This is from a live 6 handed $0.10/$0.10 game. Villain is tight, fairly aggro; I have a little less than $12 he covers w/about 15

Hero is dealt [A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]

Hero raises to $0.40
Villain reraises to $1.30
4 folds, Hero calls $0.90

Flop: [Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] Pot[$2.80]

Hero bets $2
Villain raises to $7.
Hero folds

So pf I had him on AK/99+. i don't think he's capable of a bluff here or raising me w/AK, but i could see him getting frisky with a pp. i didn't want to risk it oop this early in the session so i laid it down. too tight?

Re: TPTK folds flop

If you don't wanna risk it OOP when you flop TPTK, fold to the reraise preflop.

Re: TPTK folds flop

why should i fold pf? he could have as low as 99. Now that he has rr'ed the flop I can refine my read.

Re: TPTK folds flop

i probably would have called the flop and revaluated the turn

my guess is he has an overpair

Re: TPTK folds flop

So basically, you're looking to take down a pot when he just calls or folds to your donkbet, but when he raises, you're gonna fold your TPTK? Huuuuge RIO here IMO, just fold pre.

Re: TPTK folds flop

Why the donkbet on flop ?!

I like the check-raise on flop;

As played i tend to call flop and CRAI on turn

Re: TPTK folds flop

donk bet is bad.

why not c/c lead the turn?

also, is he a solid aggro player or a maniac? If hes solid then i like c/c lead or c/c fold.

maniac i like the flop c/raise.
