Shove. BB holding AA is the only hand you fear.

think ranges not results

anyhow - a call in position isnt the worst thing either, however the push preflop makes a thinking player QQ and less reconsider

I hardly ever shove AK preflop anymore.. vs a guy with these stats you're going to run into QQ, KK and AA almost all the time. At 50 and 25 nl people just don't 3 bet that light very often add in the guy limping then cold calling a raise then a massive reraise, I'd just call and see what happens on the flop.

Shove preflop is fantastic advice - we could have AA in one opponent and KK in another.

yeah I don't think shoving after you raise, someone reraise and someone else call the reraise is a good idea. At this lvl (and maybe somewhere else but it's only level I know) people only reraise with AK AA KK QQ maaaaaaybe JJ.

To me its a fold.

Btw I shoved two time today AK after I got reraise and ran into AA and KK. Lesson learned.

A guy who is 18/14 is raising a wider range than KK or AA here. The fact that hero has an A or K makes it more likely villain has QQ than AA or KK. The short stack's range is wider than AA and KK here. If you hate variance then fold, but shoving is profitable over the long run.

I think you're overestimating an 18/14's 3 betting range. I run similar to this at times.. and there are many times when I won't 3 bet JJ or AK here. I think the key piece of the puzzle is how he views OP.

I think just calling here is the best in retrospect. At 50nl people don't get into light preflop 3betting that much. As far as BB's range I would say QQ-AA. I've realized that consistently getting my money AI w/ AK against QQ/KK/AA/AK range is not profitable.
