List of illegal plants in the United States?
 

I got to thinking today about taking a naturally occurring plant and making it illegal has to be pretty rare (and perhaps silly). I could think of Cannabis and Peyote. I was not able to find a comprehensive list.

Anyone have any idea how long this list is and what's on it?

Note: I don't care much about plants that are illegal to have in certain habitats -- more just about plants that are illegal to have in your possession for just about any reason

I don't believe Cannabis is a naturally occuring plant in the US.

It doesn't have to be naturally occurring in the US. I just care about plants that illegal to possess in the US.

I know that poppies are not illegal. Neither is the San Pedro cactus which produces mescaline.

Peyote isn't even THAT illegal. Some places you don't even have to be a member of the native american church to use it, just has to be part of your church ceremony.

Once you get past those you get into even rarer things like morning glory or salvia which are legal. Can't think of anything else where the actual plant is illegal.
