I suppose if I was going to 3barrel this would be the board to do it on - but I'd still need a pretty good read to do it.

I really think a read is pretty crucial part of trying to pull this kind of play here... without reads I shut down after he calls the turn.. I'm curious as to what he had? PM me with results if you find the time? This kind of hand where someone smooth calls a draw heavy board and what is a marginal turn card really irks me too. At micro stakes though I just don't see 3 barreling air as +ev...if he was on some kind of draw only hand you might have him if not checking behind just saves money.

This is a crap board to 3barrel on. If he folded you probably had the best hand. That turn card is god-awful to 2 barrel on at these stakes. What hand do you think calls the flop and then folds that turn?

Did you even bother to read the whole HH? It clearly says he called the river. There are many FDs and weak pairs that call the flop and turn.

Oops missed the fact we picked up a bdfd. Turn bet is fine, but I'd make it a little more. River bet still blows.

Once he calls the turn you are toast, unless you have a read that he will call two streets with a FD then fold the river... Still, even if you do have that read I don't like the river bet. The double is fine but cf river.

Don't forget that if he's on a busted flush draw then we're ahead a lot of the time, especially thanks to the board pairing on the turn.
